Technology Note for All Clermont Families

Clermont is receiving reports that many of our student laptops are receiving a message that says the “Your Windows license will expire soon”.

Your Windows license will be expiring soon.

If your child’s laptop is having this issue, please complete the following to solve the problem:

1. Go to the outside of any FCPS building.

2. Turn the computer on.

3. Login while connected to the Fairfax Wifi.

4. Let the computer load completely.

5. Restart the computer from windows menu in lower left of screen.

6. Restart the computer again from menu in lower right of screen on login window.

7. Login to computer.

8. Shut down the computer.

9. Connect to your WiFi at home.
