Volunteers NEEDED!
Please spread the word and grab a friend or two to work with you and make a difference for these wonderful fundraisers. Your PTA needs volunteers to come on board in January in order to begin planning. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS in order to continue these two important Stratford events!!
Talent Show Chair: Do you love theater and producing shows? We need help organizing this year’s Talent Show! Stratford students love our talent show and really enjoy having an opportunity to see classmates shine. This event (planned for April) can’t move forward without more volunteers, including a chair to take charge!
Spring Fling Committee: Spring Fling is a Stratford Landing fundraising tradition. It’s not just a fundraiser, it’s part of the fabric of our school community! Spring Fling brings the Stratford Family together in a variety of ways. We are in need of parents to form a committee for the event.
- This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role for this widely-supported PTA event - with the backing of past Spring Fling leadership and committee chairs.
- Spring Fling is the PTA's largest spring fundraiser. It raises funds to support a number of school activities and programs, including our Discovery Garden. The funds are raised through Class Basket raffle (themes chosen by classes), Teacher Treats silent auction, DJ entertainment and dancing, Egg (prize) Raffle, FREE Root Beer Floats and more!
- This year will look different due to COVID protocols. We can’t do all of the usual activities, but we can have fun with it and raise money for our school. This committee has the freedom to come up with their own vision of how we do Spring Fling in 2021. Let’s find creative ways to reinvent Spring Fling like we reinvented ‘Rock N Fun’ in the fall.
Please contact Nicole Chandler at volunteers@slpta.org to help with either of these beloved Stratford events!
Thank You - Spirit Wear Fundraiser

And a big shout-out to Allison Dabbieri and Lise Sackett for their hard work in spearheading this fundraiser. We appreciate you!
