We love our Food Service team! They're here and ready to help out with meal distribution. Stop by between 8:00am - 12:30pm each day for breakfast and lunch pick-up. Next Friday, you can pick up additional meals for the January 18 holiday.

Monday Library Book Exchange
Supply Pick-up for Grades K &1
New Laptops for Grades 3 & 4
Everyone is encouraged to stop by school on Monday between 10am-12noon for library book exchange with Mrs. Daly. Having a book in your hands is a great way to stay warm in January. Please bring any books you checked out.
Kindergarten & Grade 1 students have important supplies and reading books. Having these materials will support your child's learning. Please stop by our main entrance between 8:30am-3:45pm.
Grades 3 & 4 have new laptops. Please bring your current laptop and power cord to our side door at the gym. You can drive right up or walk. We've already set up the computer with the log-on, so it's a quick exchange. You don't even need to leave your car. Please come to school between 10am-12noon and 1:00-3:00pm.
Return to School Updates
Below is the information that was emailed to families on Wednesday.
At this time, all return to school plans are on pause. We will continue with our online schedule for all students at all grade levels. There are no changes until you hear from Ms. Consolla and FCPS with any new updates. Your child will continue to log-on at 9am each morning.
When we do return, there is an update to how that will look at Mount Eagle. We shared earlier that we were hoping to use a half-day approach whereby students who chose in-person would come to school 4 mornings, and then students who chose online would have their instruction in the afternoon. Unfortunately, we will not be able to move forward with that approach. Instead, when we return, we will have concurrent instruction where both in-person and online students will be taught at the same time. Here are some possible questions you might have:
We chose in-person. When students do return, when will my child attend school at Mount Eagle?
Your child will attend Mount Eagle for the full day on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 9:00am-3:30pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served here for your child. On Thursdays and Fridays, your child will be at home learning online for the entire day. At this time, we do not know when this schedule will begin.
We chose online. What changes will there be to my child’s schedule?
Your child will still receive instruction online beginning at 9:00am with their same teacher each day. There will be some slight changes to the instructional times and lunch. When your child is online on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, your child’s teacher will be working from the classroom along with the in-person students.
When will the changes to the schedule take place?
At this time we do not have a return to school date for in-person students, so our current schedule will stay in place. As shared above, these plans are on pause. As soon as we have a date, we will let you know when and how our schedule will change.
I chose in-person and am concerned about my child returning to school later. Will I be able to make changes?
If you are considering requesting a change to online instruction, we ask that you wait until we have definitive return dates. Please do not contact us at this time regarding a request for change. We will offer it for families that want to make a change to virtual when we are closer to a specific return date.

Monday, January 11
- Morning Meeting at 9am. Teachers will have classwork for students. There will be no small groups or clubs as this is a teacher planning day.
Monday, January 18
- No school. Mount Eagle is closed.
Wednesday, January 20
- No school. Mount Eagle is closed
Friday, January 22
- Last day of Quarter 2. Instruction ends at 1:30pm
Monday, January 25
- Student holiday. No instruction. Mount Eagle office is open
Tuesday, February 2
- Progress Reports mailed out
