Dear Families,
This time of year is usually filled with hustle and bustle in preparation of winter breaks, vacations, and holiday celebrations. While our traditions and celebrations may look different this year, I hope you are able to take time to fill your winter break with memory- making activities for your entire family.
Although this year has been challenging, I am so proud of the continued effort, engagement, and perseverance of our staff and students. We are thankful for your grace and continued partnership—we truly could not do this without you!
May 2021 be filled with love and health for our Little Run community.

 Calendar Reminder:
Winter Break Is December 21 to January 1, 2021
As a reminder, this year winter break starts on December 21 and ends on January 1, 2021. FCPS has stated that Monday, January 4, 2021, will be asynchronous for all students. There will not be any small groups on this day. Students are expected to complete the assignments that their teachers post in Google Classroom by the end of day. All students will resume classes virtually, including our preschool students, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Little Run Office Closed for Winter Break
Our Little Run office will be closed from December 21st - January 1st. If you need immediate assistance during this time frame, please email Monica Mohr at memohr@fcps.edu.
We look forward to being back together in January of 2021!
New Bell Schedule
Please check your email for an important letter detailing the specifics of our new bell schedule. However, barring any changes to the plan that may be impacted by the pandemic, the following bell schedule will be in place effective January 12, 2021 for both virtual and in-person instruction.
9:00 – 3:30 K-6 & PAC
9:00 – 12:15 AM Preschool
12:15 – 3:30 PM Preschool
Parent Coffee
Join Principal Mohr and Assistant Principal Vaughan for a Parent Coffee Q & A on January 7th from 8:30-9:30am. We hope you will be able to attend. We look forward to seeing you after our long break.
