Dear McLean Community:
It is with great sadness that I share with you the passing of Mr. James Bigger. Mr. Bigger was our Latin teacher for 28 years at McLean High School and he was beloved by his students, families, and the staff at McLean High School. He was a teacher whose class was quite rigorous and one that kept students on their toes. His class was a joy to enter and students flocked to his class. He had students stand to provide an answer, enunciate Latin phrases, sing out Latin vocabulary and grammatical rules, and every one of his students loved every minute of his class. He is a legend in our school community, and we have truly lost a great teacher.
