Families with child in Grades 3-6 will explore and dive deep into how to support their child in mathematics.
We will focus on three big ideas:
- Math Takes Time,
- Focus on Understanding, and
- Asking Questions.
This session will support parents as they partner with their child and examine what is the critical content of their child’s mathematics and ways to support learning that content.

The NOAA Marine Debris Art Contest is now open through December 15.
Help raise awareness about marine debris. Marine debris is a global issue and we believe that engaging our youth is an important part of addressing the problem.
Entries will be judged on the creativity, artistic presentation, and relevancy to the theme of:
- How marine debris impacts the ocean and the Great Lakes environment.
- What you are doing to help prevent marine debris.
Previous winner artworks can be found HERE.
Entry from and release form can be found HERE.
