December 10 Parent Coffee
Rachel Carson Middle School Student Services Department hosted parenting specialist, Rachel Bailey, for a parenting workshop about, "Supporting Your Child During Virtual Learning". This year, we are facing unique challenges when it comes to virtual learning. These challenges may lead to more arguments and more feelings of frustration in both students and parents! In this workshop, parents learned actionable tips and strategies to address common obstacles such as low motivation, difficulty with online meetings and schoolwork, and feelings of social isolation.
