Fairview's Holiday Card Drive
Fairview’s Positivity Ambassadors are facilitating a holiday card drive to share holiday spirit with residents of a local nursing home.
Every day until December 16, there will be a labeled bin located right outside Fairview’s main entrance to drop off your cards.
Feel free to make as many as you would like to spread holiday cheer. Please encourage your children to share generic holiday messages, include original artwork, and sign only their first name.

Second Quarter Interims
Interims will be emailed to families next Wednesday. Interims will only be sent if there is a concern about your student's participation or progress. As always, we encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher if you have questions or concerns at any time.
The Positivity Project:
Words and Actions Matter
This week in the Positivity Project, the theme is Other People Matter, with the focus being on how words and actions affect others. On an individual level, our words and actions impact our relationships with other people. They have the power to lift others up or tear them down. But our words and actions also impact ourselves. If I am consistently speaking or acting with an entitled, arrogant, or mean attitude, I’m going to find it tougher to tap into and exemplify the character strengths of gratitude, humility, and kindness.
When a group is comprised of individuals who are thoughtful about their words and actions; individuals who show respect and consideration for the people around them – we’re likely to have a happier and healthier culture. Take some time to reflect as a family about how words and actions can significantly impact people around us daily.
“Be mindful when it comes to your words. A string of some that don’t mean much to you, may stick with someone else for a lifetime.” – Rachel Wolchin
