International Baccalaureate

Key Middle School and Lewis High School are undergoing evaluation of the IB programs at our schools.  Key Middle has the IB MYP (Middle Years Programme) and Lewis High School has the IB MYP, CP (Career-related Programme), and DP (Diploma Programme).  Parent input is an important part of the self-study process where we analyze our current implementation of the program(s) and make adjustments to enhance them. 

Please take 5-10 minutes to take this 9 question survey to let us know how some elements of the program are going.  The survey can be found here:  https://bit.ly/36nzs5g.  We would love your input by December 14th.   Should have questions about IBMYP at Key MS, please contact our coordinator Danielle Danz at dcdanz@fcps.edu

Library Book Pick-Up Day

The next library book pick up date is Monday, December 14th at Key MS from 12:00-2:30. Students can put up to five books on hold in the library catalog (https://search.follettsoftware.com/metasearch/ui/104104) and pick them up at Key on Monday, December 14. If your child has library books at home from last spring or from an earlier check out this year, you can return them to school anytime during the week from 9:00-2:30.

Please encourage your child to check out library books so they will have something to read over the long winter break! If you have any questions, please email our librarian, Megan McKnight mimcknight@fcps.edu.

Meal Kit Distribution at Key - Update 


Distribution has moved to every Wednesday starting 12/2/20.
