Dear Keene Mill Families,
As we reflect on all that we are thankful for during this Thanksgiving holiday, I would like to take a moment to share my gratitude for our wonderful school and community. I am grateful to be the principal of Keene Mill Elementary School and to have an opportunity to lead the best staff, students, and families, especially over these past eight months.
Keene Mill's mission could never be achieved without the commitment of our outstanding staff. The caring and compassion demonstrated by our stellar instructional staff, our amazing custodial staff, and our enthusiastic office staff is second to none, and I appreciate their dedication on a daily basis. Our teachers' passion, creativity, and willingness to take risks as they continue to create meaningful and engaging virtual learning experiences for our students is absolutely inspiring. I am thankful each day for the opportunity to learn from them.
I am also thankful for our students. They log in to school every day and put forth their best efforts. Each day they embrace the challenge and are open to new ideas, new concepts, and new experiences. I am so proud of their resilience day in and day out.
Finally, I am thankful for our committed and enthusiastic families at KMES. We have struggled through difficult moments together and celebrated many successes. I appreciate your support and commitment to your child’s learning. This valuable partnership is the foundation of the success of our students.
Whatever your Thanksgiving holiday looks like this year, I hope you take a moment to give thanks for the people, experiences, and blessings in your lives.
