Get some fresh air and keep moving on November’s Walking Wednesday, November 18, an opportunity for students and their families to walk in their neighborhoods for a boost of energy and for neighbors to reconnect at a safe social distance. Families are encouraged to find ways to cheer on their neighbors as they walk in their neighborhoods.
November’s event is dedicated to Ruby Bridges, the elementary student who, as the first African American student to integrate William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans, was escorted to school by federal marshals in 1960.
Additional information on this event can be found here.
While we are not able to join together at our traditional Thanksgiving luncheon, we want to bring the community together. Our Eagle View community is urged to participate in our non-perishable pantry and card drive this week, November 16-20. Details are noted below.
The referral deadline for level IV services is December 1st, 2020 for the 2021-2022 academic school year. Additional information regarding the level IV screening process can be found on the Advanced Academic Programs website. Please direct any questions regarding the level IV referral process to the Advanced Academic Resource Teacher (AART), Nicole Sharpes nmsharpes@fcps.edu.
2nd Grade Screening Pool
The Advanced Academic Programs Office has informed us screening pool information is not yet available. Further information will be provided as it is received from the Advanced Academic Programs Office. If you want your child screened for Level IV services the recommendation is to proceed with the necessary paperwork without the screening pool information.
Eagle View Families - Boosterthon is PTA’s largest fundraiser. Thank you for every share and donation and donation contributed to the fundraiser so far. We appreciate everyone’s help as we raise funds for instructional support, technology, and the PTA budget. If you haven’t registered your student on funrun.com, it’s free and easy to do!
Once your student is registered consider making a pledge. If you are not able to make a pledge of your own, share your student’s pledge link with extended family and friends. Every share and donation adds up to make a big difference for our school.
We thank you for your support!
The PTA general meeting that was scheduled for tonight has been postponed as there are no current agenda items. The PTA will update the general membership once they have Boosterthon results to formulate the budget.
