Due to the COVID-19 pandemic school closures, access to the HMS clothing closet has been suspended. However our community partners at, Cornerstones, in partnership with the Hunter Mill District Supervisor’s Office, is once again operating the Hunter Mill District Winter Coat Closet for 2020 – 2021 in order to provide free winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to all who need them.  We are excited to welcome the Beautiful Tomorrow Assembly back to HMS (virtually) on Wednesday, 11/18. The assembly will be shown to students during 4th period. There will also be an optional virtual meet and greet for students and staff after school from 2:45-3:45 on 11/18. Students are encouraged to participate in this exciting opportunity. Instructions on how to access the after school meeting link will be shared with students on Wednesday during period 4.

Interested in providing feedback to Herndon Middle School’s School Counseling program? The HMS Student Services Department is offering the HMS community a unique opportunity. It’s easy and should only take a few minutes of your time. We are asking our HMS staff, students, families, and community to give us feedback - the good, the bad, and the constructive.
