Important Dates
Because He Loved Her: Jholie's Story-Webinar on Teen Dating Violence Awareness
Unhealthy relationships can begin early and last a lifetime. Teens often think that certain behaviors are a "normal" part of a relationship; however, some behaviors can be abusive, and many teens do not report these unhealthy behaviors to friends or family.
Please join us on November 17 @ 6:30PM to learn more information on how common teen dating violence is, consequences of unhealthy relationships, and how we can stop teen dating violence before it starts.
Presentation will be given by Ms. Veronica Eyenga, founder of Not A Runaway Organization, and aunt to Jholie Moussa, beloved student from MVHS.
Click here for the November 17th meeting link.
Join us in collaboration with Walt Whitman Middle School PTSA on November 19 @ 4:30 PM, by examining teen drug trends (especially during quarantine) and identifying potentially harmful substances of abuse in your household.
In this presentation, we will incorporate the “Tik Tok challenges” that have promoted drug use and ways for parents to reduce the risk of drug use/abuse in their teens.
Presentation given by Beth Mohaupt, FCPS Substance Prevention Specialist
