Please Support Virtual Field Trips this Year
Virtual Field Trips, like the annual 4th Grade Trip to Jamestown, Virginia this Thursday, are one of the ways the PTA uses your Bee the Hive donations. Although some virtual field trips are free, several still charge fees. These field trips enable a deeper understanding of the subjects students are learning and add an interesting dimension to online schooling. Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation educators will join our 4th graders' synchronous class session tomorrow. We will participate in the session “Jamestown-From England to Virginia” and learn about the colonists’ reasons for exploration. Help keep our school functioning at its best by donating today at https://herndonespta.com/donate/!
Thank you to Herndon United Methodist Church
Herndon United Methodist Church organized a virtual 5K/20K race, "We are Herndon", to raise funds to help provide supplies for Herndon area students to succeed in school this year.
We are grateful to all of the participants who raced and the Herndon UMC family for your generous support!
