Belvedere News and Announcements

From the Administration

Dear Belvedere Family:

Thank you to all who attended the PTA meeting yesterday evening. The PTA held two back to back meetings, one in English and one in Spanish, and both were well attended. Belvedere's lead Special Education teacher, Ms. King, shared about the special education process and types of services.  If you have any lingering questions, please contact the school. We are here to support you in any way we can.

We are almost ready for our kindergarten students to return next Tuesday!  Our classrooms will include cameras that allow at-home students to see the teacher and the students present in the classroom.  Teachers will also have microphones, a second monitor, and a document camera.  All classrooms also have Smartboards.  As we begin concurrent instruction, we ask for your patience and support.  Our staff is working hard to manage multiple devices and to smoothly switch between them.  We are so lucky to have such wonderful teachers and assistants who work diligently to meet all students’ needs.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Cecilia Vanderhye

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation by clicking here.

Your gift enables the Music Department to fund additional instruments, equipment, special music, software, technical services, and tailored instruction, particularly important in our virtual learning world. Tag Day donations also support live concerts and competitions, as soon as we are allowed to participate.

Please make a donation to KEEP THE MUSIC ALIVE at Justice High School. Two ways to give:

  • By mail: Send your check (made payable to: Justice High School Band Boosters, Inc.) to PO Box 1640, Falls Church, VA 22041.
