schedule

Next Library pick-up date 11/23/20

The next library book pick up date is Monday, November 23rd at Key MS from 12:00-2:30. Students can put up to five books on hold in the library catalog (https://search.follettsoftware.com/metasearch/ui/104104) and pick them up at Key on Monday, November 23rd. If your child has library books at home from last spring or from an earlier check out this year, you can return them to school anytime during the week from 9:00-2:30.

Please encourage your child to check out library books so they will have something to read over the Thanksgiving break! If you have any questions, please email our librarian, Megan McKnight mimcknight@fcps.edu.

Starting Monday, November 9, 2020: Targeted Support for Math and English

Key MS teachers of Math and English will start inviting students for additional support in Math and English on Monday mornings beginning Monday, November 9th. Students will be invited based on beginning of year diagnostics data and Quarter 1 performance.

When not in the small groups for additional support, Math and English teachers will continue to be available for drop-in Office Hours. Students invited for additional support have been notified by their Math or English teacher and will be reminded by the Advisory teacher to attend on Monday morning at a specific time.

Please support this effort by checking with your Key MS student about their plan for work on Mondays and ensure your Key MS student is attending Advisory on Monday mornings at 8:00 AM. As a reminder, all Key MS teachers are available for drop-in Office Hours during the hours of 8:45 AM – 11:00 AM on Mondays.
