'ROCK 'n' FUN' Begins THIS Wednesday, 11/11!
The PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year, Rock ‘N Fun, kicks off this Wednesday, November 11 and runs through Monday, November 23! Fundraising will be done as a school and divided between Pre-K/PAC - 5th grades. 6th grade will do their own fundraising for their activities for the year.

*Between November 11 - 23, there will be daily virtual activities, videos, prize updates and challenges via recorded videos. These will be shared with teachers for their classes to watch during morning meeting or when the teacher feels it works out the best in the class day.
*Due to the updates with teacher workdays/independent learning days in November, the final Rock ‘n Fun Spirit Rally/Virtual Event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Teachers will be provided a pre-recorded video of the event to share with their classes during morning meetings that day.
*Money raised will go right back into the school by way of prizes and student enrichment! We will be distributing prizes on Friday, November 20 at SLES. We need volunteers to help! If you can help, please email Sara Jefferies: srlegel@yahoo.com

Bingo Night in a Bag
Bingo Night Participants: Starting Thursday, Nov. 5th, you can drop off your bingo daubers in a marked clear plastic bin in front of SLES when picking up/ dropping off your student's library books. If you still have some and need to make other arrangements to get them back to the PTA, please email Sheena Arting at community@slpta.org.

Coming in December... Virtual Book Fair, Story Nights, & McAlister's Restaurant Night
From December 1st - 8th, SLES will have an ONLINE Book Fair with Bookworm, a local bookseller out of Springfield.
To kick off our Book Fair, we will have Story Nights for our families to enjoy some good tales together! We highly encourage 6th graders to participate again this year for this wonderful event. In the past, they have shared stories with the younger grades and we want to continue that tradition!
