We would love to have more students attend the After-School Program! If you have not signed up yet please reach out if you have any questions at pgharsh@fcps.edu. Some new clubs are listed below:
Creative Writing (Now on Thursdays)
Do you enjoy creating old or new worlds? Do you enjoy writing? Do you like to share your writing with others? Poe’s Creative Writing After School Program is for anyone who answered yes to any of these questions. You will have time to plan your stories, write, and share with peers and teachers. If you love writing, want to improve writing, or just want time to work on your own creative writing projects, please sign up! I am very excited to get to work with you!
Current Events
Like fun discussions? Then this club is for you! You will get to discuss current events topics with other club members. This club will be focused on learning about news around the world, the nation, and right here in our community.
Kpop
For people who are unfamiliar with Kpop, it stands for Korean pop culture. Club members will explore the dynamics of performs, music, dances, meanings and songs as well as the Korean language itself. Moreover, Kpop Club can provide an encouraging stage for people eager to have an opportunity to meet some new friends with similar interests or just listen to your favorites and talk “biases”.
If you are interested in attending one of these clubs, please email pgharsh@fcps.edu
