EXCITING NEWS!
As we phase back in to in-person learning, our supply kit distributor has re-opened our account! Anyone who might be changing their mind and sending kids in, missed out on ordering before, or if you just need more supplies, we can be your one stop shop! Click below to order your grade level requested supply kit. If there’s a huge surge in orders we’ll set up another distribution at the school; otherwise kits will be delivered to your home.
**The only difference is that the community supplies will not be a part of these kits, but the prices will be adjusted as such.**
Every kit ordered has $1-$5 added to the prices as an easy fundraiser for PTA, and every kit ordered goes toward our grade-level credits for our teachers to decided what they need more of in January/February.
Thanks for your support!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the pumpkin decorating contest! We had over 30 entries and we could see the hard work each and every kiddo put into their carvings. It was hard for the PTA to decide. If there was not an entry in the no carve category per each grade, we chose a 2nd winner in the carve category. the winners are:
Rising Dranesville Dragon and PreK: Asher (traditional pumpkin) and Gray (scary face pumpkin)
Kindergarten: Ms. Mason Walsh kindergarten class (traditional pumpkin) and Dhruv (lion pumpkin)
1st grade: Amelia (dinosaur) and Molly (dragon)
2nd grade: Ava (unicorn pumpkin) and Owen (marshmallow pumpkin)
3rd grade: Mache (cat pumpkin) and Layla (scary pumpkin)
4th grade: Mara (slug pumpkin) and Johnny (spider/brains pumpkin)
5th grade: Alex (ghost pumpkin) and Hudson R (crazy craft pumpkin)
6th grade: Bianca (Among Us pumpkin) and Josiah (evil pumpkin)
We will be posting the winners pumpkins in the comments below. Winners have a choice of a camouflage patterned dri fit dragon runners shirt (smallest size is a medium) or an awesome Dranesville water bottle with Drake Dranesville on the front! Please email dranesvilleptacontest@gmail.com with your preference and we will coordinate logistics.
Ms. Walsh's kindergarten class won for their group effort and virtual pumpkin carving lesson. We love it when our Dranesville community comes together. In lieu of a t-shirt or water bottle, Ms. Walsh will be emailed a gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers to buy resources for all her students who helped carve virtually.
Thanks again to everyone who participated! We hope you had a safe and fun Halloween!
