Return-to-School: Procedures for Illness
Due to COVID-19 in the community, it is recommended that all students who are sent/kept home with Covid like symptoms be evaluated by a healthcare provider prior to returning to school. Your healthcare provider should complete the ‘Permission to Return to School/Child Care’ form and it will need to be provided to the health room or school office prior to your child’s return to school.
For more information, please refer to the FCPS Return to School Family Guide.
Return-to-School Family Guide for the 2020-21 School Year
Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is partnering with families to ensure we keep students and staff safe and healthy as we return to school buildings for learning. The information in this guide will help families know what to expect as your children return to school and steps families will need to take at home in preparation for the return to school. Please take time to review the information.

Please take a moment to consider “Going Paperless” to receive only online report cards each quarter. To take advantage of the paperless options, you will need to login to ParentVue, then go to “My Account” and select "Go Paperless.”
Parents should select this option prior to November 6th to ensure they do not receive a printed copy of the first quarter progress report.
Special note: All parents who live with the student and share the same address must have a SIS ParentVUE account and must select the paperless option to prevent the mailing of progress reports.

For parents returning library books, a box has been placed between the two sets of main doors; please ring the bell to place books in the box. Library books can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 am- 3:30 pm.
Restaurant Discount Cards - Hayfield Football
Hello Hayfield Hawk Supporters!
Despite these extraordinary times of virtual schooling and delayed sports seasons, Hayfield Football still needs your support. We are selling our annual Fall Discount Card. Unfortunately, our players cannot go into the community to seek your donations, but we are still selling our cards contactless. This year the sale will be through the official Hayfield Hawks Football website.
The card has great savings on local businesses and chains. Roy Rogers, Green Turtle, Outback, and Tropical Smoothie are just some of the businesses offering great discounts. View our flyer for all the discounts you can enjoy. The card costs $25 (which includes the USPS shipping/mailing of your card to your home). All proceeds go directly to our football program. Thank you for your support!
