MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL - TOWN HALL WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Friday, November 6 is the deadline for parents to verify their preference for their preference for online or in person learning.  We will hold a town hall on Wednesday, November 4 at 7 pm to discuss concurrent instruction and our plan to return to school.  I will provide the link to the town hall via e-Notify.

Reminder Monday, November 2 and Tuesday, November 3 are student holidays and professional development and teacher workdays, respectively.  Students are not required to check-in with their teachers on Monday, November 2.

The superintendent has extended the first quarter; therefore, students may submit late or missed  assignments up to 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 2.  Students should contact their teachers if they have questions about late or missed assignments.

Stay healthy; be safe; GO BULLDOGS!

Anthony E. Copeland, PhD

Principal

NEWS AND INFORMATION

REPORT CARDS

Report cards for 1st quarter and beyond must be printed and mailed by schools for all parents/guardians who have not opted to “Go Paperless.” The first quarter posting window is Wednesday, October 28th - Friday, November 6th at 11:59 p.m. Printed report cards should be mailed once all grade changes are complete, no later than Friday, Nov 20th. Mailing labels can be generated for the reports cards to be mailed. PDF versions of the report cards should be generated at the same time to ensure the print and PDF versions are consistent. The PDF version of the report card will appear in the Report Card module in ParentVUE and StudentVUE. Instructions on how to print and generate PDF report cards can be found under Grading Secondary - Report Card Setup and Printing (pdf). The grading windows are available on the intranet SIS More Information page.

Parents and/or guardians can opt to “Go Paperless” at any time by logging into ParentVUE, going into “My Account” and selecting "Go Paperless".  Parents should select this option prior to November 6th to ensure they do not receive a printed copy of the first quarter report card. All parents who live with the student and share the same address must have a SIS ParentVUE account and must select the paperless option to prevent the mailing of the report cards.
