Clermont's Veterans Day Program kicks-off on Wednesday, November 4th! Make plans to tune in with your student during Morning Meetings November 4-13 to learn from student and staff videos about Veterans Day, Veterans and their military branch of service, and Military Families. Listen for a special Clermont version of the National Anthem. Take a walk to learn about our Veterans and Military on a Scavenger Hunt beginning near Clermont Elementary--and take pride in the American flags that will adorn the Clermont entrance. Plan to write letters to elderly Veterans in the Richmond VA Nursing Home.

Wow! What we’ve accomplished in virtual PE! Students have figured out how to move safely in personal space, demonstrate following rules, routines and expectations, and work cooperatively over the last three units. Moving into the second quarter, we will be exploring Healthy Mind and Healthy Body units. We hope you’ve enjoyed some fun learning activities utilizing the PE Choice Boards found in Monday Folders. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

We wish you a peaceful, screen-free, 4-day weekend!
Fondly,

The “Go Paperless” option is now available to all elementary parents to allow you to receive online progress reports starting the first quarter of SY 20/21. This will not impact any other mailings from FCPS other than the progress reports for elementary students and report cards for secondary students. To take advantage of the paperless option, please log into ParentVUE, then go to “My Account” and select "Go Paperless." (All parents and/or guardians who live with the student and share the same address must have a SIS ParentVUE account and must select the paperless option to prevent mailing of the printed progress reports.)
FCPS has developed multiple resources that can help with basic technology issues to support learning at home.
