JOIN PTSO FOR THE 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR!
The majority of PTSO funding comes from membership. All funding directly supports students or teachers.
To join the Woodson PTSO go to: https://wtwoodsonptso.ptboard.com/home. Under announcements find JOIN Woodson PTSO - click the green VIEW button. Create an account and enter the WT Woodson code - 4STUWV. Fill in the required information; click add to cart; then click checkout. At checkout enter credit card information (Card #, Expiration date and CVC #).
Staff lunch sign-ups are filled!
Many thanks to everyone who signed up to donate chips and waters to the PSAT Staff Lunch this Thursday.
All of the slots to donate were filled within a couple of days!

Your PTSO Funding at Work
- Over $7,000 in PTSO-released Grant funding has been used to purchase document cameras for the Woodson math department. An additional $2,000 in funds is available and will be used to secure web cams, digital pens, monitors and other necessities for additional staff members.
- Special thanks to Meri Farling and Teresa Lemair for filling over 300 staff mailroom boxes with treat bags on behalf of the PTSO to show how much W.T. Woodson parents and students appreciate the staff’s dedicated work.

Mock SAT/Mock ACT are coming in November - Registration is open now!
The Woodson PTSO is pleased to announce that Mindworks Educational Services will provide this wonderful fundraising opportunity again for Woodson.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
-- Mock SAT is scheduled for Saturday, November 14; 8:00 A.M. - Noon
-- Mock ACT is scheduled for Monday, November 16; 8:00 A.M. - Noon
Important to know: Tests will be administered and proctored online. Students will print and complete their test at home.
The mock tests are a great way to prepare for SAT/ACT testing the spring of junior year by determining strengths and weaknesses now.

Parents, siblings, relatives, teachers, coaches, and friends of Woodson’s graduating Class of 2021 have an opportunity to purchase ad space in the 2021 edition of the yearbook!
There are many ad sizes available at various price points. Orders are being accepted now, and all ad space is sold on a first-come, first-served basis. So place your order early to reserve ad space for your graduating senior!

SENIOR LEGACY BRICKS - A special way to honor your WTW graduate
Senior parents, Don't forget to order your Senior Legacy Brick in honor of your graduating Senior (or for other family members who are W.T. Woodson alumni). These Bricks make excellent graduation gifts!! The Bricks will be installed in the courtyard between the main entrance and the auditorium entrance. We will strive to have them installed before the Senior Baccalaureate ceremony, but definitely before 2021 Graduation.
You can order by filling out the Brick Order Form (found HERE) and sending your check to the mailing address indicated on the bottom of the order form. You can also pay online HERE and follow the instructions for what to engrave on the brick, or send a scanned copy of the order form to wptsobricks@gmail.com.
(We must have a copy of the order form on file to order the brick).

Woodson Library Curbside Pickup
Students who place a hold on an available book by Friday at noon can pick up that book on the following Monday between 10 am and 2 pm from a cart outside of the main entrance or just inside of Door 1 if it is raining. Students may place up to five (5) holds.
Students can use their FCPSSchools.net account or go to our Woodson Virtual Library site to learn how to place a hold.
