Did You Know?

Mclean Matters is a Parent-Volunteer Committee whose mission is to support students-in-need at McLean High School.

Committee members have been working with the school social worker and counselors to identify these students' current needs. They secured school supply donations from Target and BJ’s, including 27 boxes of binders, composition books, spiral notebooks, pens, pencils, and much more. The committee is also working with the social worker on a possible grant that could provide funding for headsets for virtual learning. Currently, they are preparing for the Holiday Gift Card Drive, which will kick off next month.

Stay tuned for more information in November.

Volunteer Openings at McLean PTSA

The McLean PTSA is an all-volunteer organization. Whether you have the time and energy to chair a committee or prefer to volunteer an hour at an occasional event, YOUR PTSA NEEDS YOU and appreciates all that you do!

Please consider the following open positions:

All-Night Grad Party (ANGP) Committee Chairs for 2021

Lead planning and delivery of our All-Night Grad Party for the Senior Class of 2021. Planning begins early to make it a memorable gathering for our graduating students. Current-year Committee Chairs are available to provide a smooth transition along with helpful documentation.

Membership Co-Chair

The Membership Co-Chair will collaborate with the VP Fundraising to create and implement a membership plan, promote membership through AtoZ Connect, and provide membership reports at PTSA board meetings.

It involves collaborating with the AtoZ Connect staff to help create a student directory both online and print versions. The Co-Chair is responsible for supporting parent/student online verification at the beginning of the school year.

Training will be provided for the AtoZ Connect tool. You will have an opportunity to learn from seasoned parent volunteers who will help you with this role.

All open positions can be found here.
