Justice Newsletter - October 25

A Note from Principal Eck

Dear Justice Families,

It’s hard to believe the first quarter will end this Friday, October 30. Students should have all their quarter one work completed and submitted by this day for it to be reflected in their Q1 grades.

Just a reminder that October 29th is a PSAT day and we will run asynchronously. In addition, October 30th is a two-hour early release day. Please see below for our schedule. There is no school for students on Monday, November 2, and Tuesday, November 3. These days are student holidays and no asynchronous work will be posted.

Please note that FCPS Weekly Progress Reports generated through SIS will not be sent to parents between now and Friday, November 6 while first quarter grading is completed and report cards are generated. Additionally, the Grade Book and Report Card modules in ParentVUE and StudentVUE are closed until November 6th during the grading window.

Finally, last Friday, Dr. Brabrand’s sent an email about return to school updates. You will be receiving an e-Notify email from me on Monday to reconfirm your selection from the summer, either in-person or online.

As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me or any member of our admin team.  Have a great rest of your weekend!

Go Paperless - Report Cards

Parents and/or guardians can now opt to “Go Paperless” in ParentVUE and receive only online report cards.

This will not impact any other mailings from FCPS other than the report cards for secondary students and progress reports for ES students.

To take advantage of the paperless options, BOTH parents and/or guardians will need to log into ParentVUE, then go to “My Account” and select "Go Paperless."  All parents who live with the student and share the same address must have a SIS ParentVUE account and must select the paperless option to prevent mailing of the printed report cards.

The “Go Paperless” option will apply to all their associated students, no matter what school level.
