SCHOOL NEWS: We're excited to welcome the first two cohorts of students back to the building this coming week!
Return to School: Today all parents received a very important email from Dr. Brabrand about the Return to School Plan. Please read that information carefully. I will be following up with additional information on Monday through the eNotify system to each grade level.
Box Tops: Last call! Please drop them in the front office by October 30th.
October 30th: End of 1st Quarter: Two hour early release for all students on-line (2:00pm). In-person students in special education will be asynchronous that day.
November 2nd and 3rd: Teacher Work Days - no school at all.
November 4th: Start of 2nd Quarter

PTA NEWS: WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our RVES teachers are dedicated to ensuring that virtual learning is a success for all of our kids. They have spent their own money to buy resources to enhance their students’ learning and build community. The PTA supports our teachers by providing teacher grants to assist them in purchasing these items.
The PTA has already purchased…
- Read-aloud books and a white board wall for Ms. Francis’ kindergarten class
- Chapter books for Ms. McCartney’s 6th grade class
- Math tools, books, and puppet kits for Ms. Hochstetler’s kindergarten class
BUT we need YOUR help! The RVES PTA has a difficult job this year: Continue to raise money to support our school community without holding our largest fundraising events.

RVES SPIRIT EVENTS:
Throughout the school year, the PTA plans fundraisers at local restaurants at which a % of proceeds is donated to Rolling Valley. It's convenient (you can eat in OR get takeout) and helps the school - so it just makes "cents" to participate!
