It’s Time for the FSES Library Storybook Pumpkin Festival!

Last spring, students blew us away with their imagination and creativity during the Book Character Potato Contest.

This school year, let’s celebrate our love of reading with a Storybook Pumpkin Festival!

If you’d like to participate, pick a favorite storybook character and decorate a pumpkin to look like him/her/it. (Some examples are Pete the Cat and Pigeon). Make a small sign with the character’s name and take a picture of your pumpkin and sign.

Please email the picture to Mrs. Bello (ambello@fcps.edu) for inclusion in a schoolwide slide show. Be sure to include the student’s name and grade level in your email. Pictures may be submitted anytime before October 30^th.
