Directions to do this are in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) located at this website as follows: https://www.dss.virginia.gov/benefit/pebt.cgi   Choose the big blue bar to read everything in Spanish.

Again, it is important you renew your F/R lunch benefits as soon as possible to continue to also receive any P-EBT benefits. Understand that the P-EBT benefits are temporary and may stop in the near future and once children begin returning to school in-person.

paperless

The “Go Paperless” option is now available to all ES parents to allow them to only receive online progress reports starting the first quarter of SY 20/21.   This will not impact any other mailings from FCPS other than the progress reports for ES students.

☝️❗To take advantage of the paperless options, parents and/or guardians will need to do the following:

Log into ParentVUE, then go to “My Account” and select "Go Paperless"

Please Note: All parents and/or guardians who live with the student and share the same address, must have a SIS ParentVUE account and must select the paperless option to prevent mailing of the printed progress reports.

The “Go Paperless” option will apply to all their associated students, no matter what school level. If the associated parent and/or guardian has already selected “Go Paperless” for their secondary student, the option will now apply to any ES siblings as well.

Student Rights and Responsibilities

Parents and guardians, please review the Student Rights and Responsibilities and related resources at www.fcps.edu/srr.  After reviewing this important information, fill out the SR&R Parent Acknowledgement Form.  The form must be filled out one time per student.

Fairfax County Public Library Checkout Now Available to All Students

books

Effective October 1, all FCPS students (preK-12) are able to check out materials from the Fairfax County Public Library (FCPL), even if they don’t have a traditional library card or a card has been blocked due to fines.

Under the Library Equity Access Pass program (LEAP), a partnership with FCPS and FCPL, students need only their name, not a physical library card, to check out three items at a time for six weeks each (no renewals). LEAP accounts are never charged fines or fees.

A student can have a LEAP account in addition to a standard library account. Standard accounts allow users to place holds on materials and access FCPL’s digital resources, such as eBooks and databases.

Families can apply for a standard account online and in library branches

The CBRS rating scale is used for both self-regulation and social skills and is completed after 3-4 weeks of observation.
