Great Family Activities
Wide-Open School is a learning hub for families and teachers. They have collected resources to help make distance learning fun and engaging.
Each day Wide-Open school provides a variety of activities you can do. For example, for Wednesday, October 21, the grade K-2 activities are
- Learn how to make an origami box
- Listen to Oprah Winfrey read "The Hula-Hoopin' Queen."
- Follow the Digital Trail about #DigCit
- Take a screen break and make masks.
- Make a Doodler
- Learn about Nutrition
- Learn about garbage and recycling.
They have different activities for:
- Pre-school
- K-2
- 3-5
- 6-8
- 9-12.
