WPHS Library Curbside Side Pick-Up - The library continues with its Curbside Pick-Up for books. Students place a hold in Destiny (online catalog), Pick-Up: Mondays between 12:30-3:00pm. National Honor Society (NHS) - Applications for juniors and seniors wishing to join the NHS will be accepted until 3pm on Wednesday, October 14. Students must use their fcpsschools.net email address to access this link - https://forms.gle/6iKBe2mJ1Yf95eif6. Questions? PSAT Day For Juniors – Intent to participate deadline, October 9th
11th Grade Parents/Guardians, on Thursday, October 29, West Po Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT. FCPS will cover the test cost for any 11th grade student. To be eligible – students need to register by completing the Intent to Participate form by today - Friday, October 9. Intent to Participate form can be found in the Class of 2022 Google classroom (must be accessed using their fcpsschools.net Google accounts).
West Potomac Masks for Sale -- only 5 left!

College Admissions in the Time of Social Distancing - The PTSA is proud to bring you a virtual seminar via Zoom with Dr. Jed Applerouth on Tuesday, October 27th at 7pm. As we know, applying to college is stressful under normal circumstances and knowing how the global pandemic has changed the process is vital. Join us to learn all you need to know to navigate the college admissions process in these changing times. NEW SELF-DIRECTED CLASSES OFFERED THIS YEAR ($125.00) The test prep program is offering self-directed online test prep created by Applerouth. This is an excellent course that covers all the content offered through the usual group class as well as tips and strategies for the official tests. Mock test results provide a solid study guide. Applerouth tutors are available to assist self-directed students with any questions during the course. One mock test is included in the self-directed class. Class licenses expire 7/31/21. PSAT/NMSQT FREE ONLINE PREP OFFERED BY APPLEROUTH 9/26/20 - 10/11/20 - You’re invited to Applerouth’s PSAT Prep Rally! Students can join online strategy sessions to prep and then take a full-length proctored practice PSAT/NMSQT - for free.
