MONDAY ATTENDANCE & TEACHER SUPPORT

Students are required to complete a Google attendance form every Monday for their 1st period teachers between 8:00-9:00 a.m.  The form is available through their 1st period teacher’s Blackboard 24/7 course or Google Classroom.  Students must be logged in using the @fcpsschools.net account to complete this form.  All teachers have discussed the process with the students.  If students do not complete it, they will be marked UNV for the day.  Please remind your students to complete this task.  Teachers will be available for support between 9-11 a.m. by appointment.  Students should make arrangements with their teachers the week before.  If your student is unable to complete the form or complete asynchronous activities for the day due to illness, etc., please call your Subschool attendance line.

Library

Library Spotlight

Hello Robinson Families,

Have you heard about the Fairfax County PUBLIC library LEAP program? “Starting October 1, 2020, all students (PreK-12) in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) will have LEAP accounts at FCPL. These public library virtual accounts will allow students to check out up to three items at a time for six weeks each (no renewals).”

What else should you know?

**** “A student only needs their name, not a physical library card, to check out materials.”

**** “LEAP accounts never charge fines or fees.”

**** “ A student can have a LEAP account as well as a standard library account (application online and in library branches). Standard accounts allow users to place holds on materials and access FCPL’s digital resources such as eBooks and databases.”

Please visit this site for full details: https://robinsonss-fcps.libguides.com/online-learning/LEAP

Happy Reading!
