Please take a moment to complete the following links virtually. These are required forms for the school year. Please let us know if you need assistance or have questions regarding the below forms.
Digital Consent Form
Listed below are the digital tools that are used at your child’s school that require parental approval, and not all tools will be used by every student. The tools have been carefully reviewed to ensure that they align with the FCPS Learning Model and FCPS conducts the same technical evaluations for all products that use student information.

To provide your parental consent for each student in your family, please follow this link and follow the provided directions. Provide consent.
Student Rights and Responsibilities
Parents and guardians, please review the Student Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R) guide and related resources at www.fcps.edu/srr. After reviewing the information, fill out the SR&R Parent Acknowledgement Form using this link we have provided. The form must be filled out one time per student.

Student Health and Safety Guidance 2020-21
The link below will provide you with the Health Screening Commitment form to be completed by parents six days before any student returns back to the building.

Important Advanced Academics Screening Information:
*NEW to FCPS STUDENTS* Referrals for AAP Level IV screening are due 10/8/2020 (Students new to FCPS as of 1/1/2020_Grades 3-6)
*FCPS STUDENTS* Referrals for AAP Level IV screening will be collected between September 8 through December 1, 2020 (FCPS students _Grades 2-6)
Referral forms are emailed to the Advanced Academic Resource Teacher (AART) and Principal at the local school. The email will count as a digital signature for the referral.
Note: Referrals will not be accepted past December 1, 2020. A deadline of December 1, 2020 gives local schools time to organize and submit screening portfolios to the central office.

Our first library curbside pickup will be on October 26 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm! Students in grades 1-6 will choose 5 books to put on hold. These books will be checked out and ready for pickup on October 26. All holds are due by October 16. Kindergarten students will receive a mystery bag of books.

Mighty Red Birds Travel the World
For the month of October explore the world. On our first flight we will learn about continents, oceans, and so much more.
Students and families will make, Red Bird Traveler Passports to track their travels.

Travel Taste
We’ll be hosting cooking challenges on Mondays at 2pm twice a month. The first Monday of the month, it’ll be a seasonal “Nailed It” challenge; the third Monday of the month will be a recipe from around the world.
We’ll post the ingredient list on our web site for each recipe the prior Friday, so everyone has time to assemble things. These videos will be recorded and posted on YouTube, so families can use them whenever it works with their schedule. Please check out our new google site and post your creations using FlipGrid.
