Bus Stop Library Book Deliveries

On Monday, October 5, the school bus will be out in our community again delivering library books to students. Students will need to place books on hold through our electronic library system. Please see the process for library book checkout and bus stop delivery below:

  • Students (and families) can browse the Graham Road Library’s Destiny Discover catalog to place books on hold.  Board books and professional books will not be included in this delivery so please avoid choosing these books.
  • After placing books on hold, the books will be checked out and organized in student labeled bags and sealed.
  • Parents and students will be sent a confirmation email from our librarian, Ms. Patel, that books will be delivered on October 5.
  • After parents and students receive the confirmation email, plan on going to any of the following bus stops at the estimated times on Monday, October 5:
    • Linda Lane and Monticello Drive (1:30 – 1:45)
    • Monticello Drive and Monticello Drive at the Shopping Center (1:45 – 1:55)
    • Monticello Drive and Robert Lane (1:55 – 2:05)
    • Monticello Drive and Computer Lab (2:05 – 2:15)
    • Rosemary Lane and Terry Lane (2:20 – 2:30)

Students can also return any library books they may have at home at these stops as well!

Please contact Ms. Patel, spatel@fcps.edu with questions or click the image below with step by step directions for students (must be logged into FCPS G Suite account).
