Thank you for taking the time to attend our virtual "back to school night." We had a great turnout! If you were unable to attend, please contact your child's teacher to locate the recorded version. It has been made available for you.
Over the last three week, we've seen students become accustomed to their new school routines and procedures. While this isn't the ideal environment for school, we see that students, parents and teachers are making the very best of the time they have together.
As we begin week 4, please take a few moments to review the information captured in our newsletter. You will find additional information on school testing, parent consent forms and student rights and responsibilities.

Each year, students are assessed using the iReady universal screener as one tool to help determine where your child is performing academically. With the COVID-19 pandemic still with us, this year students will be taking this assessment at home. Please watch this video for some tips on how to support your child with this assessment from home. Letters with more information will be emailed by classroom teachers soon.

Please try to join your online class by 9:10 am. Your teacher will be there waiting for you! If you have any trouble at all, please email your classroom teacher. If you aren't able to reach your teacher, please call the school at 703-923-2900.

Virtual First Day Packet
The Parent Consent Form is just one of the forms we need you to review and/or fill out as the school year begins. Usually we provide paper copies of these forms in our First Day Packet. For this virtual environment, we have adapted that process to a digital format.
