CES Weekly Update 9.20.2020

Principal's Message

Thank you for a successful virtual back to school night and great attendance at our opening PTA meeting Thursday evening. I thank you for your support of our students as we have gotten off to a great virtual start. This year will certainly take all of us working together to provide the very best we can for our students. Together we can!

Our teachers are giving their all to provide instruction and monitor student engagement. Your words of gratitude mean the world to our teachers as they work harder than ever. The love and care for our students is evident and I hope that you are seeing it all come through in your home.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week and hope you are enjoying this cooler weather.

Stacy

First Weeks Photos - We would love to see photos of our Chesterbrook Chipmunks

We would love to gather and share photos of our students as we began the 2020-21 school year.  If you would like to share, we would love to have a glimpse as they share their creativity and dive into learning.

How have your children shown resilience and stayed positive? Photos shared may be included in our next News You Choose, Twitter or be saved for a hopeful 2020-21 yearbook.

Please submit photos by sending to ChesterbrookES1906@gmail.com.  This account is not monitored on a daily basis for emails, so please do not use this for general communication needs.

Curbside Library Check Out

Students can log in to Follett Destiny using their student ID number and password to browse books through the Chesterbrook library catalog. Each student can place a maximum of 5 books on hold.  Additionally, students can complete a Google form to request types of books instead of specific titles.  https://tinyurl.com/msreidbooks

Ms. Reid will gather books from the Chesterbrook library, check them out to the student, put books in a labeled bag and place them outside of the main office. Students will receive an email to let them know when their books are ready for pick up. Curbside pick-up will be available on Tuesdays and Fridays outside of the main office starting on Friday, September 18th. Books can be placed in a return bin outside of the main office. Books will be isolated for 7 days.
