A reminder that supplemental supply pick-up is this Monday, September 21 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. If you cannot make this event, please designate a neighbor, family member or friend to complete the pick-up as there will be no alternate pick-up dates.
To assist us with this process, please write your child(ren)’s Last Name/First Name and grade on a sheet of paper, large enough to be visible by staff, and place in the front dash of your car.
Below is a list of supplies included in this first pick-up. If you have student specific materials, please pick up those supplies first through the Kiss & Ride loop and then proceed to the bus loop (front of school) for grade-level supplies.
Any forms that families need to return (i.e., Health Care Forms) can be returned Monday during supply pick-up, 12:00-4:00.
- The full-time, Level IV AAP referral deadline for students in grades 3-6 newly enrolled in FCPS this year is October 8th. This deadline is for students who are seeking placement in a Level IV classroom this school year. If found eligible by the AAP Office, placement would begin at the start of the third quarter. To initiate the screening process, a Level IV referral form must be submitted digitally to Sara Balcanoff by the deadline. In addition to the referral form, a copy of ability test scores must be included. The AAP Office is unable to screen students without an ability test score.
- The full-time, Level IV AAP referral deadline for students in grades 2-6 is December 1st. This deadline is for any student seeking placement in a Level IV classroom for the 21-22 school year. To initiate the screening process, please submit a Level IV referral form to Sara Balcanoff by the December 1st deadline.

Local FCPS Teacher, Cancer Survivor Launches Campaign for Music Project
Your children can check out school library books through our library catalog and pick them up at a curbside location beginning Monday, 9/14.
Directions for accessing the library catalog and selecting books can be found here, using your child’s @fcpsschools.net log in.
In addition to the Sunrise Valley ES curbside pick-up location, we will also offer weekly pick-up opportunities at Dogwood ES and at the Chestnut Grove Condominiums.
Specific pick-up dates, times and locations will be outlined in the confirmation email you will receive when your child’s library items are checked out and ready for retrieval.
