Dear Families,
It has been a wonderful week of learning at Graham Road Elementary! We hope you've all had a chance to peek into classrooms and see the incredible experiences teachers are working so hard to provide. I am personally in awe of the hard work, planning, flexibility and innovation each and every one of our staff members have shown over the last few weeks. Many of our teachers and staff have families of their own and significant others who are also working from home. They have set up spaces in their homes and are working tirelessly teach in a new way and reinvent instructional practices. Teachers are consistently handling technological challenges and hiccups with patience and care. Thank you for your patience, understanding and feedback as we work to make this work for everyone.

It is required for parents to provide consent to use the digital tools essential to providing instruction online. This information is provided in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to provide you with information about the measures FCPS takes to keep student data secure when using digital tools. By completing the digital form linked below, you provide permission for your child to use the FCPS-approved online tools listed below as part of an instructional program.
Every parent must complete this digital consent form by October 30, 2020 or students will not be allowed to use digital tools.

Please review the Student Rights and Responsibilities and related resources at www.fcps.edu/srr. After reviewing the information, fill out the SR&R Parent Acknowledgement Form using the link we have provided below. The form must be filled out one time per student, so if you have two children at Graham Road, you will need to fill out the form twice. Please fill out the form by September 25, 2020.

We still have bags of school supplies for students who did not pick them up from bus stops. If you were unable to pick them up from the bus stop, please call the school main line to arrange a curbside pick up!
