Parent Coffee
Mrs. Mohr and Mrs. Vaughan will be holding weekly parent coffees, on Thursdays from 3:15 – 3:45, for the month of September. Our first one will be tomorrow, Thursday, September 10th. There will not be a formal presentation. Instead, parents will have time to ask questions or share success stories from the first few days of virtual learning! You can access the Parent Coffee here.
Is Your 4th– 6th Grader Interested in Band or Strings?
We are excited to welcome you to the band and strings program at Little Run! If your child is in 4th, 5th or 6th grade, they have the opportunity to play an instrument this year. Below is a slide show with Instrument Demonstrations for your child to select the instrument that is their favorite. Children who play the instrument they enjoy hearing, tend to enjoy playing their instrument most. Playing an instrument brings children an opportunity to engage in creativity and is a great opportunity to connect with others.
Please note:
- All 4th grade students may play a string instrument or participate in general music.
- All 5th grade students may play a band instrument, or a string instrument, or participate in general music.
- All 6th grade students may play a band or string instrument, AND participate in general music.
