Correction for 8/31 laptop distribution
Dear SCMS families,
I apologize – In the Mustang Newsletter sent out earlier this morning I gave incorrect distribution times for Monday, August 31st in the Upcoming Dates section. The distribution time was correct in the information further down the page but we don’t want anyone to show up at 8:30 AM on Monday since our volunteers will not be on site at that time.
The correct time is listed below:

Laptop Distribution Schedule:
Laptops have been distributed to most of our students in the past two weeks. Please remember that your student should accompany you to the laptop pick-up since your student will need to sign in with his/her student ID number and create a new password. Our final scheduled distribution date is scheduled for Monday by last name. If you were not able to make your assigned time slot, please email the appropriate assistant principal; 8th grade- Mr. Mitchell (jshaltermanm@fcps.edu) or 7th grade- Ms. Hendershot (MEHendershot@fcps.edu). 7th grade families will enter the field/Kiss N Ride entrance. 8th grade families will enter from the cafeteria side (closer to the traffic circle).
- Monday 8/31 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM: last names R-S
- Monday 8/31 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM: last names T-Z
