Franklin Families and Students,
Good Evening!
This is a reminder that our Virtual Student Welcome Sessions will take place tomorrow morning. There will be one session at 9:00 AM for 8th grade students and another session at 10:00 AM for 7th grade students. This is an optional activity for all students, and if you are unable to attend, a recording of the session will be shared in our grade-level Google Classroom.
During the session we will provide an overview of our Return to School resources and events, discuss a typical “day in the life of a Virtual Falcon,” offer tips to prepare for a successful start to the year, and answer student questions.

Laptop Distribution Make-Up Day Tomorrow
We enjoyed connecting with our Franklin families and students at the laptop distribution this week. If you were unable to make it earlier in the week, Franklin MS will continue to distribute laptops on Friday, August 28th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 P.M. Before you arrive, it will be helpful if your student knows their Student ID Number and password. If your student does not know their password, our staff will be here to assist you.
If you did not pick up your child’s laptop because you are electing to opt your student out of using the school-issued laptop and your child will be using a home computer, please complete this Opt-Out Intent Survey to help us finalize the laptop distribution process. If you have submitted the county opt-out form, we ask that you please still complete this Google form. Thank you for your support.
