8/28/2020 UPDATES

Eagle View’s staff is hard at work planning for a successful start to the school year.  

  • September 1, 2, 3 - Family meetings will be held.  Classroom teachers will reach out to their families to schedule appointments.
  • September 2, 2020 5:00-6:00 PM - Eagle View will hold a virtual open house.
  • September 8, 2020 - The first day of school.  We look forward to welcoming our families.

PTA SCHOOL SUPPLY PICK-UP

Thank you for your supporting the PTA by buying a sprout school supply kit.  They will be available for pick up between 12:00-3:00pm Thursday September 3rd.  Please use the sign up genius link to sign up for a time slot https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0C48A9AE23A1F85-school.  We will be distributing from the BUS CIRCLE.  We will be wearing masks and ask that you also wear masks.

KINDERGARTEN AND NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

Do you have a Rising Kindergartner or know someone who has just moved to our area?

Kindergarten registration is ongoing for the 2020-21 school year.  Children who reach the age of five on or before September 30, 2020 and live within the boundary of Eagle View Elementary School are eligible.

Students new to Fairfax County and current FCPS transfer students in grades 1 through 6 can also register for the upcoming 2020-21 school year.  All families must confirm their address in the FCPS Boundary Locator http://boundary.fcps.edu/boundary/ .

Parent Technology Help Desk

On Monday, August 24, FCPS launched a toll-free Parent Technology Help Desk to assist families with technology issues. The number is 1-833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS). It will be answered 7 a.m.-11 p.m., seven days a week. Parents who need help in a language other than English should let help desk staff know, and an interpreter will join them on the line. (FCPS has Parent Information Phone Lines available in eight languages to assist with general questions about FCPS.)

FCPS has also created an online portal for older students and parents/guardians to request technology help.
