Dear Rocky Run Families and Students,
The Ramtastic Rocky Run MS staff is back in action and we are so excited for the 20-21 school year. We believe that Together WE can do VIRTUALLY anything!
It was a pleasure to meet with so many of our families at our Family Town Hall earlier this week. If you missed it you can review the recording.
We had a very successful laptop distribution over the last several days. It was wonderful to greet our students and help them to get set up for a strong, virtual start to the school year. If your student missed laptop distribution, please complete this form* to request a new time

SIS ParentVUE Account
The SIS ParentVUE Account (Student Information System ParentVUE Account) is the FCPS secure solution for accessing information about your child's attendance, class performance, demographic data, and links to FCPS 24-7 information.
Your child's schedule will be available in SIS ParentVUE and StudentVUE on September 2nd, 6 AM.
Parents who do not have activation key generated previously will receive a mail from the central office with their new activation code. If you forgot your password, please visit "Forgot Password" to reset your password.

Beginning of School Year Forms
As we prepare to (virtually) open schools this fall, we ask that all parents and/or guardians update the annual mandatory school forms. Updates to the following forms are all necessary for your students to begin school every year. This information can also be found on our website.

Rocky Run Jumpstart 2020 - Ready To ROCK!
Who? Rising 7th graders and 8th graders who are NEW to Rocky Run
What? An optional program to provide students with opportunities to engage with staff and their peers, ask questions, and work on skills that will help them have a successful transition to Rocky Run.
When? Week of August 24th
Where? Virtual! Asynchronous activities will be posted for students to navigate through on their own time. We will host some live, synchronous sessions for students to interact with staff and learn about life as a Rocky Run Ram! Program access information and schedule for live sessions will be available during the week of August 17th.
Why? We want to offer you an opportunity to learn more about our school before the year gets started. Together we will have a great year!

Under Construction: Renovation News
- Our custodians and construction teams have done an AMAZING job cleaning our new spaces to get them ready to open.
- You may see many furniture delivery trucks over the next two weeks. Our new music rooms and gym spaces will be outfitted!
- New walkways and blacktop are underway.
- Construction is on target to be complete prior to the first day of school. We cannot wait to share pictures of our new spaces!
