Welcome New Staff
Crestwood Elementary is excited to welcome some new teachers to our nest! A group of owls is called a parliament. Joining our Parliament this year is:

We know our Crestwood ES students and families will give these teachers a warm welcome. These teachers are eager to help our students soar high to succeed.

Technology Access for Every Student
FCPS will provide all students laptops to use for online learning this school year. Fairfax County will be providing new laptops to Crestwood ES students who will be in 5th and 6th grade this fall.
We will provide laptops from our school inventory to students in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade to ensure that each student has a laptop for our virtual start to the school year.
Laptop distribution will be done by appointment only. The Office Staff will be calling to schedule these appointments and to check on student laptop, Wifi, and school supply needs. Please be on the lookout for this phone call. We will be calling in the order of the distribution. Please see the schedule below. If you do not receive a call to schedule an appointment within 48 hours of your grade level distribution date, please call the office at 703-923-5400.

8/18 - 6th Grade
8/19 - 5th Grade
8/20 - 3rd Grade & 4th Grade
8/21 - Kindergarten & PreK
8/24 - 1st Grade & 2nd Grade
Parents and caregivers will be able to pick up computers with minimal contact and without having to access FCPS buildings. We will be following all health and safety protocols.
Language Supports - Parent Information Phone Lines
Parent Information Phone Lines are available in eight languages to support families with information whose first language is not English.
 Translation Information
Information posted on the FCPS public website allows the user to select their preferred language, which then generates translated text on the web page. In the top left-hand corner, you will see an icon allowing the user to indicate their preferred language.
On some webpages, users may also see an area allowing them to select their preferred language.
Kindergarten Registration
Do you have a child that will be five years old on or before September 30, 2020? If so, it is time to register your child for kindergarten. Although all FCPS schools and administrative buildings are closed, you can start the registration process online! If you need help with the directions below please leave a message on the main office's voice mail with your name, phone number and that you need information for Kindergarten registration. You can also check out the Crestwood Elementary School website.
