DRES Daily Schedule
We are providing our daily schedule so families have a clearer vision of what their child’s day will look like. Please note that schedules may see minor changes as our goal is to remain as transparent as possible as we make adjustments to fit the needs of our students, families, and staff.
DRES Curbside Laptop Distribution- Grades 1-6
Please sign-up for the Grades 1- 6 Laptop Distribution Dates (these have been updated since last Friday)
August 18th - 1-5pm
August 19th - 1-5pm
August 20th - 8am-5pm
August 25th - 1-5pm
August 27th - 1-5pm
How can I prepare for laptop pick up?
- Sign-up for a date and time
- Have your child’s student login and password ready. (See below message for password recovery.)
- Once students receive their labeled laptop, families will need to use the FCPS wifi from the car to log in for the first time to load their profile.
- Staff will be onsite to assist with this process.
Kindergarten Laptop Distribution - Updated Information
Laptop distribution for all Kindergarten students will occur on August 25th and 27th from 8:00-5:00. If you have NOT signed up for a time slot please email dreskindergarten@gmail.com and our Kindergarten team will help you.
PAC/Pre-K Laptop Distribution
Our teachers will contact each family and arrange a date and time for laptop pick-up.
Student Passwords
Rising 1st - 6th-grade student passwords will not expire this year! Your student can continue to login to their FCPS computer, Google Apps, and other FCPS applications that require their username and password.
For rising kindergarten students, we will set up your password on the day of distribution.
Password Recovery: (Rising 1st-6th only) We encourage parents to set up password recovery information for their student using the FCPS Account Manager system located here https://itweb.fcps.edu/AccountManager/
Class Placements
Teachers will send class placement information on August 19th. We will send these by email again this year, and they will go to the email address of the enrolling parent.
