Our amazing staff has updated the supply lists for virtual learning. You can access these lists by clicking here.
In addition to these limited supplies for home, Fairhill and the Fairhill PTA have purchased a core set of materials for each student. These "Virtual Supply Kits" will be available during laptop distribution.

Principal Coffee Talks
Please SAVE the DATE(s) for August Coffee Talks. We will send out a link to join each session prior to the date. Expect an email on Thursday with topic info and link to join.
August 21st at 9:00 a.m.
August 28th at 9:00 a.m. (PreK Kindergarten families only)
August 28th at 10:30 a.m. (Grades 1-6)

Laptop and Virtual Supply Kit Distribution
We are encouraging ALL students to come and get a Fairhill laptop on their assigned days- even if you have a personal laptop at home.
If your student currently has a Fairhill laptop, they will continue to use the same one for the 2020-2021 school year, (with the exception of 5th and 6th graders who will be getting a new one). Please come pick-up a supply kit on the dates below regardless.
Again, we encourage all families to use a Fairhill Laptop during this school year.
For families with multiple students, please come on the same date as your oldest student.
August 25th: 5th and 6th grade, 9:00-12:30
August 27th: 3rd and 4th grade, 9:00-12:30
August 31st: 1st and 2nd grade, 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00
September 1st: PreK and Kindergarten, 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00

Message About Tutoring Pods
Across the country, many parents are joining together to engage private tutors (who are often school teachers) to provide tutoring or home instruction for small groups of children. While there is no systematic way to track these private efforts, it’s clear that a number of “pandemic pods” or tutoring pods are being established in Fairfax County. We are aware of these tutoring pods, as well as some accompanying community concerns. These instructional efforts are not supported by or in any way controlled by FCPS—for several reasons. Read more.
