The bell schedule for Sunrise Valley will continue to be 9:20-4:05.
During the school day students will receive real-time, interactive instruction (language arts, math, science/social studies, morning meetings)Tuesday through Friday . The elementary day will include additional small group instruction, intervention supports, and independent learning activities assigned to students. The day will also include screen time breaks, lunch and family choice time.
Sunrise Valley will release specific grade level daily learning schedules the week of August 17.

Laptop distribution will take place at SVES on August 26 from 8:30-11:30 am and August 27 from 1:30-4:30 pm.
Each student will need a dedicated computer since learning will take place throughout the entire school day- it would be difficult to share a computer. We ask that if you have a computer that your student can use for this purpose, to please not reserve a laptop.
On August 19, at 9:00 am, Mr. West and Ms. Younger will hold a principal coffee. It is an open forum for questions and conversation regarding the 20-21 school year.

On Friday afternoon, August 28, we will email teacher assignments for the school year.
Our teachers and staff return to work next week. At that time we will work with them to plan our virtual ‘Meet the Teacher’ events for this year. These events will take place the week of August 31. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.
School supply lists for the 20-21 school year are available on the SVES website.
These items were created for a yearlong in person school experience and are also suggested for virtual learning. Please feel free to use existing supplies or replacement items.
