Freshman Students & Parents (Class of 2024)

The virtual Freshman Orientation Bootcamp is August 10-14. In preparation for the bootcamp, please work with your student to complete the survey using the following link (https://forms.gle/D3etiAwxYyjfjLUj6) to assist with our planning.

The virtual Freshman and New Student Parent Night is September 2. This is an opportunity to meet me and pose questions about Westfield and the 2020-2021 school year.

Collection of Items from 2019-2020 School Year

With the exception of members of the class of 2020 and students not returning to Westfield, we did not collect textbooks and other school property in June.  The following information outlines our collection plan of Student Textbook/School Property from the 2019-2020 School Year. Your student will receive an email in his/her fcpsschools.net account in the coming days. The email will detail his/her outstanding textbook/material obligations. Your student should use this email to gather his/her belongings to return to Westfield High School.

The following table has textbook/library book collection dates/times. The collection process will not require you or your student enter the building.

      • Indicate which textbooks you are returning.
      • Please Note: If you don’t have a printer, please write your own copy with the same information as the template.
    • If possible, please use a post-it note indicating your name and student ID number and  place on the books/materials you are returning.

The morning/afternoon you come to Westfield High School:

  • Make sure you print out your name tag and place it on the passenger dashboard of your car.
  • Please put post-it notes on the outside cover of your textbooks with your student ID to expedite the process.
  • At the ticket booth entrance of the stadium, there will be greeters  at the Welcome Station directing you towards Door 11.
  • Follow the directions of Westfield Security and staff volunteers.
  • Please remain in your car. Westfield staff will retrieve the returned items from your car, and update your information on the obligations list.
