Return to School Update
This year, our school year will start virtually. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Information about our virtual start, class assignments, and Back to School Meetings will be coming out in August. Regardless of our setting, our Lions will have a successful year of learning. Our office is open daily between 9 am and 12 pm. Please call us if you have questions.
While the School Board has voted for us to begin the year 100% virtually, Ms. Padmore's Return to School Question and Answer Session.can be found on the LTES website or by clicking the above link. Some of the information has changed. However the information on the safety precautions that will occur when we return to in-person instruction is the same. Click here to view updated Return to School Information on the FCPS website. Stay cool and enjoy the days ahead. We are looking forward to seeing our Lions virtually in the Fall.
As we prepare for the upcoming school year, all students will have access to an FCPS laptop. If you are planning on moving, please contact the school office to schedule a time to return your laptop. Students transitioning to Middle School will need to return their laptop to London Towne prior to picking up their laptop from Middle School. More information will be coming out in August regarding laptop return and distribution for the upcoming school year. Stay tuned. Have a wonderful rest of the summer.

 Help Our Community...Census 2020
It's not too late to complete your Census. Each year, Virginia receives roughly $18 Billion in public funding for important community services like schools, police, fire, health care, roads and much more. We all count! If you’ve lived in the country only a few weeks or for your entire life, you count. If you live alone, with family, with friends, or with people you don’t know all that well, you all count. Everyone in Fairfax County counts. Everyone living in your household needs to be counted as part of the 2020 Census. Learn why you should be counted at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/topics/census and complete your census online now!
You can complete the questionnaire online, by mail or over the phone. It’s short and only asks for basic information (e.g., age, sex, race, type of housing, etc.) for all people living in your household. It does not ask for sensitive information like social security numbers, immigration status or bank account information.
Click here to view the In Fairax Everyone Counts video in English or here for Spanish. More information can be found here to complete the Census. Representatives from the census office will be at London Towne this week to answer any questions you may have.
