Seeking Applicants for School Board Citizen Advisory Committees

Dear Braddock District Community,

I am currently seeking applicants who are interested in volunteering to serve on one of several School Board Citizen Advisory Committees for the 2020-21 school year.

Each Board member nominates a citizen for appointment to each committee. Advisory committee appointments reflect the religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity of the magisterial districts. The advisory committees meet throughout the year and submit an annual report to the Board.

I currently have vacancies on four of these committees. Please see below for a general description of each, with links to additional information.

Applicants must be residents of the Braddock District to be considered for a position as my appointee. If you are interested in serving, please send your resume and a statement of interest to my assistant, Cristy Coffey - cmcoffey@fcps.edu, no later than August 17, 2020 for consideration.

In service,

Megan
