We have some exciting news to share! Greenbriar East Elementary PTA was one of the 110 recipients nationwide of National PTA’s Phase 1 COVID Relief Funding, sponsored by TikTok. This is an emergency grant funding of $5,000, which is intended to help meet the most pressing needs of our school community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are grateful for this opportunity & excited to be able to invest these funds into betterment of our school! |
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
You can now order supplies for next year and support our PTA! Orders can be placed directly online at: https://www.campussurvivalkits.com/gbe This year all individual supplies will be delivered to students' homes in August and community supplies (i.e. wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, etc.) will be delivered straight to school at the start of the school year. NOMINATIONS FOR PTA BOARD & CHAIR POSITIONS FOR 2020-21 ACADEMIC YEAR
Reminder! Nominations and self-nominations for next year's PTA board are due Friday, June 5th. If you would like to make a nomination for next year, please email your name, brief bio (3-5 sentences), membership status, and the position you're interested in to vp@gbepta.com.

Voting:
Voting will begin at 9 am on Monday, June 8th, and it will remain open until 7 pm on Monday, June 8th.
At 9 am on Monday, June 8th, all current PTA members will receive an electronic ballot to the email address they provided with their PTA membership. This ballot will include a description of the voting procedure and the ballot return deadline the names of all candidates nominated (and/or any self-nominating candidates) meeting eligibility requirements for election of officers.
Email messages containing member ballots will NOT be forwarded beyond the teller committee for any reason.
Multiple chair positions are also available! Please contact any board member for details or with nomination information. Chair position nominations will be available until filled.

Our final meeting will be held via Google Meeting on Thursday, June 18th at 6:30 pm. Invitation to attend will be sent out to PTA membership next week.
